The beauty of the People and Nature of Kanazawa
December, 2010
I think there are projects in your life that seal you forever. Book of Seasons – A year in Kanazawa is one of the most interesting and lovely documentaries I’ve ever worked in.
Each one of the stories inside this film touched my soul and I will be very proud to be part of this forever. Book of Season a years project that started at the beginning of 2010, going back to the location every season to complete the theme. After one year working on this movie we organized a film festival in the city of Kanazawa, Ishikawa prefecture, where I had the opportunity to meet some of the characters on the movie and personally thank them for their wonderful inspiration.
We made a DVD, a poster, a flyer and finally a book for this project, where I was in charge of the design, selecting carefully each one of the incredible images from the movie. Finally we selected a drawing from a Kimono with the four season theme, as the main image for the whole project.
For the music, the Director Kaori Brand and me though about using traditional japanese children songs, I contacted my brother Daniel Jiménez and his wife Shenny Lopez to help me on the soundtrack.
Daniel made a completely new arrangement of the song Haru ga kita, “The Spring was come” with Shenny singing in Japanese, followed by the song Yuki, “Snow” arranged by the two brothers on a king of electronic mood sung again by Shenny. The rest of the music was new compositions composed by me inspired on each one of the seasons.

The Wisdom Years
August, 2008
This Documentary was the first music soundtrack I made. It was a big project produced by the United Nations University and The World Health Organization.
I worked on the music beside my brother Daniel Jiménez who finally composed the must recognizable themes on the soundtrack.
At the same time I was working on the design and animation for the Logo, the DVD, the Website and the Flyer of the movie.
